The Goddess Of My Dreams

The Goddess Of My Dreams

In a dying hope to replenish the lost joy
With my eyes rolling over the shallow words
Trying to make every attempt to sink into
My spirit that was full of vibrating emotions,
My fingers become lifeless when they failed
To turn the pages of a book held in my hands.
Just when my thoughts began to drift away
Towards the dark abyss of boredom,
With a blink of an eye they turned around
In search of you: The Goddess of My Dreams.

The wisps of thoughts which clouded my vision
Started clearing up to unveil a picture of you
Treasured deep in the vault of my mind palace.
Just like a fragile plant that needs to be nurtured
With drizzle of water and rays of the morning sun,
My heart breathed life into your portrait with a beat of life
To light twinkles in your hazel green eyes
And strike a smile on your enchanting face.

The long curls of your lustrous hair flowing down
Your shoulders like a waterfall of thick waves
Is a delightful spectacle that makes me ravenous
For their tantalizing dance of invitation; but I am left
Feeling languid out of your awe-inspiring charm.

Your body is crafted in the hands of deities
Who took an eternity to decide how to make you
A divine being in the entire universe by carefully
Working out details of every cell that constitutes it
For making you the most sublime life form seeded
With a sacred spirit that transcends time and space.

I have a sensual weakness for feminine beauty
To the extent that I find myself in a pool of shame
Because of the overpowering temptation of having
Such ecstasies from time to time. But not with you;
With you, it is a brazen obsession with no sign of guilt.
Loving you more and more each moment of every day
Is my daily ritual devoted to your celestial beauty;
And that is the only reason I am not hating myself
By having your reflection always set upon my eyes
Whose tremendous appetite for you never gets lost.

  2. I love the photography with the words. You like a woman who is built to be gazed upon. My oh my. I fear you would love me. I am built like a brick house. It has not always set well with me, because it's a great deal to be burdened with. I dress down a great deal to shy away from the remarks and the compliments. However, this write would take me to my knees, and I might worship the man who wrote it. This was delicious.
